In this video, we will be looking at the Elgato HD60 X External Capture Card. If you're a gamer and a streamer, this little device is for you. You can hook up any gaming console with and HDMI out into this device to split the audio and video signal to your computer and to your TV. You can record your gaming and stream to your fans via twitch or youtube! If you're not a streamer, you can use popular software like OBS and StreamLabs to record your gaming and post it on youtube or other similar platforms. It doesn't have to be game consoles. Pretty much any device with an HDMI output can be captured to your computer with this device. You can record 1080P at 60 frames per second HDR10 or 4K at 30 frames per second.
This device is ultra low latency. You can barely tell that there is any video lag. This is pretty good for a device that is external and transferred through a USB cable. This device is plug and play and driverless on windows and mac. Check out our video. We unbox the unit and we also test the video, sound, and recording to see if we notice the delay.
