If you own a Roomba, you'll need to do routine maintenance such as replace the rollers, brush, and filter. Replacing these parts are critical for long lasting and maximum cleaning of your robot.
Although there are many aftermarket choices you can get for your replacement / replenishment parts for your robot, we decided to stick with the authentic replacement kit offered by iRobot. To mix it up a bit, we also got a set of aftermarket rollers. If you want to save money, there are cheaper alternatives and aftermarket replacement parts you can get for your robot. The choice is yours.
In this video we will be opening and reviewing three items. The replenishment kit, vacuum bags, and aftermarket rollers. These will be for the model E, I, and J models. I personally own a J model so the video will show me replacing parts for my J model Roomba. After roughly four month of using the robot, I was surprised on how dirty the filter got. It's very important to keep the filter top notch so you get maximum suction from the motor. A clogged filter means a weaker suction which in turn means a dirty house. The rollers weren't that bad after 4 month of use, but I decided to give the aftermarket ones a try first. We'll see how they perform. I also found out that one of the arms was broken off on the corner sweeping arms. You can see all this in the video below! Check it out!
