Noctua has been known for making the most reliable and quietest performance fans out there. Coupled with their heatsink design makes a great combination on dissipating heat from your processor. I’ve built a couple of 12th Generation Intel Core i7 and i9 computer. Both water cooled and air cooled, I must say that the Noctua NH-D15 is great for either processors.
The six heat pipes and 2 fans provide excellent cooling even under the heaviest of load. The two fans are 140mm fans with PWM support for automatic speed control and ultra-quiet operation. Its recessed lower fins provides 64mm clearance for tall memory heatsinks in single fan mode, making it compatible with most high end RAM modules. If you want a great way to cool the power hungry 12th Gen Intel CPUs but don’t want to run liquid cooling, this is a must have. It will handle the job on any load. It maybe a little more expensive then others, but the quality and the name is worth it.
